Scope and Contents
This collection includes Technology Topics and Topics, with issues from 1974-1983. This collection also includes the Florida Tech Today magazine, which consists of issues from 1992 to the present. Approximately 10 issues are missing from the whole collection. Missing physical issues of Florida Tech Today include: Volume 1, Issue 1, Winter 1992; Volume 6, Issue 4, Fall 1997; Volume 8, Issue 2, Spring 1999; Volume 22, Issue 2, Fall 2013; and Volume 25, Issue 2, Fall 2016. There also exists online copies of the Florida Tech Today starting in 2006, which can be found at https://today.fit.edu/archives/.

Biographical / Historical
Produced by the Office of Marketing and Communications, Florida Tech Today, as it describes itself, is “a magazine for Alumni and Friends of Florida Institute of Technology,” that was sent out to keep alumni informed on the school’s progress. This magazine was originally named Technology Topics from 1974 to 1978, until the magazine had its first name change to simply Topics. This name remained until 1992, when the name Florida Tech Today took over. Florida Tech Today was released four times a year until after Volume 5, which was then released only three times a year. In volume 10, Florida Tech Today underwent a major style change from a newspaper-like format to a more magazine-like format.
