Biographical / Historical
Once called Tech Lines, and then Tech Talk four issues later, the Campus Observer is a newsletter written for the faculty and staff of Florida Tech discussing various events and occurrences on campus. The newsletter was produced by the Office of University Communications, which changed its name to the Office of Marketing and Communications in 2011. The first four issues were called Tech Lines, and it dated from January of 1995 to April 1995, after which it changed its name to Tech Talk. When it was called Tech Talk, the newsletter was released on a biweekly basis and monthly over the summer until March of 2000, when the name changed to Campus Observer. Campus Observer continued the biweekly release until volume 9 in 2008, where it was released once a month up until its last issue in October 2011.
