Biography

The Department of Marine and Environmental Systems is a department within the Florida Institute of Technology College of Engineering. It began as the Department of Oceanography in 1966. Throughout the years, the department added more programs, including Ocean Engineering and Environmental Science. In 1993, The School of Marine and Environmental Technology joined with the department, forming the Division of Marine and Environmental systems.
