Scope and Contents

This collection consists of various art pieces submitted by the Florida Tech community in a variety of forms, such as short stories, poetry, drawings, and photographs. This collection contains the founding constitution and at least two physical copies of every Kaleidoscope issue, as well as some copies of the Belletrist. This collection also contains digital files of some issues.

Biographical / Historical

The Kaleidoscope is a student-run organization created for students of Florida Tech as a “creative outlet.” Initially called the Belletrist, the literary magazine disappeared for a time and in 2008 was revived as the Kaleidoscope.

Abstract

Kaleidoscope is a literary magazine produced by students under the sponsorship of faculty from the College of Psychology and Liberal Arts. It includes short stories, poetry, photography, and artwork from Florida Tech undergraduates, graduates, faculty, and staff. The physical collection of the Kaleidoscope includes the complete run to date, as well as some copies of the Belletrist.
