Biography
Virginia Wood was the Chairman of the University of Melbourne and donated land from the University of Melbourne to Brevard Engineering College (later Florida Institute of Technology) in 1960. Wood Hall at the Florida Institute of Technology is named after her. She also is a founder of the American Homesteading Foundation.
