Biography
Jerome Stern was a writer and writing professor at Florida State University. He and Skellings got to know each other when Stern agreed to set up a small “Writers Networkshop” laboratory at Florida State using computers Skellings provided. Stern was technologically advanced for the time and arranged for his writing students to submit some of their creative writing over modem to the Tallahassee Democrat newspaper.
