Biography

James Byron Hall was a 20th Century American novelist, prolific short-story writer, and poet. He attended the University of Iowa. Hall has received many awards, including the Drue Heinze Prize and the Oregon Institute of Literary Arts poetry award in 1992. Hall and Skellings were literary, academic, and business friends. Hall also worked on Skellings’ IBM Electric Literature software.
