Biography

St. Joseph College was a Catholic university in Florida for a good part of the 20th century. It was founded in St. Augustine as a sisters’ formation college. In 1966 it became a coed Catholic college for lay men and women when it moved to Jensen Beach. St. Joseph College sold its campus to Florida Institute of Technology when it closed in 1972.

Abstract

These records contain administrative documents related to the acquisition, closure, and sale of the Jensen Beach Campus by the Florida Institute of Technology from 1977 to 2001 as well as some documents related to the operation of the campus. The records are held within three boxes and takes up 1.34 cubic feet.
