International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) is an American multinational technology and consulting corporation, with corporate headquarters in Armonk, New York. Skellings had contracts with IBM to produce the Electric Literature software series which included “Electric Poet”, “Comma Cat” and “Dictionary Dog” and were protected by Skellings’ United States Patent #4270284. Skellings was appointed an IBM Consulting Scholar.
