Biography
Rollins College is a private liberal arts college located in Winter Park, Florida. Skellings was Rollins College President Rita Bornstein professor of poetry when she was an undergraduate student at Florida Atlantic University c. 1970. They remained colleagues and Bornstein honored him by in 1997 by placing a stone from his birthplace, Ludlow, Massachusetts, in the Rollins Walk of Fame. Skellings also gave a poetry reading at Rollins College in 1996 as part of their Winter with Writers literary series.
